One of the most difficult conversations I’ve ever had with a client was this:
I had to tell them they were on a path to an early death if they didn’t change their life.
At 160kg, they knew deep down that weight loss surgery was a good option.
But there was a massive barrier holding them back—and it wasn’t the cost.
They believed that getting the operation was a failure.
They felt they should be able to lose the weight on their own.
The fear of shame and judgment kept them stuck.
But eventually, they worked through it, took action, and got the surgery.
Now, at 80kg, they’re living a vibrant, fulfilling life they never thought possible.
Their story holds a powerful lesson: We often delay the decisions that could transform our lives because of fear or misplaced beliefs.
In this week’s video, I explore:
Why we resist making good decisions
How to break through the barriers holding us back
A framework for acting sooner
